Due to their contributions in fusing alternative rock with funk since the 1980s, there are not many music fans that do not know the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band's numerous appearances on MTV and frenzied tour dates over the years having given rock an energy that it hadn't seen in a predominantly pop music scene. With the recent replacement of guitarist John Frusciante with his friend Josh Kinghoffer, fans are eagerly waiting to hear the Red Hot Chili Peppers' new lineup on their upcoming album, I'm with You. The band is excited about the new lineup too, as they've scheduled months worth of 2012 tour dates.
