We are seeking an experienced Oncology RN forthe position of Clinical Coordinator to supervise the daily operations of the outpatient Cancer Center. Under general supervision of the Nursing Director, the Clinical Coordinator assists in coordinating the work flow of the unit. Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to all patients: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Management: Manages the clinical practice of the unit according to established standards of care and Hospital policies and procedures. Maintains staffing patterns and assumes responsibility for scheduling. Performs duties of staff nurse as needed. Maintains equipment. Communication/Collaboration: Meets with Manager and staff on a regular basis to ensure effective communication. Provides feedback to employees. Identifies, recommends, and facilitates areas for continuous improvement. Acts as a liaison with other healthcare professionals, patients, and visitors.
