This 1972 Jim Wynne and Walt Walters-designed deep-V hull, with topsides designed by Dick Avery, resulted in the creation of an exceptional offshore boat, that combined the best cruising and racing characteristics. All were working for Chris Craft at the time, but Wynne and Walters later went on to work for Thunderbird, sharing their offshore racing experience and doing more great things. The Lancer has always been in high demand for its superior performance, seaworthiness, stability and speed offshore. The open layout with forward cuddy allows an expansive amount of room, and will accommodate twelve passengers! The rear bench seat offers great comfort, while both the helm and passenger seats lay flat for lounging or overnighting. Just an excellent layout overall!
